Speedometer No Ads is a GPS speedometer for golf carts, e-scooters, and e-bikes. Your privacy is the default: everything happens on your own device.
What data we collect
None. Speedometer No Ads does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information.
How your location is handled
- Location (GPS) is used only while the app is open and in the foreground to calculate your speed, average speed, and trip distance.
- Your location is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded or sent to any backend or third-party service.
- Location access stops when you close the app.
- No account, login, or cloud sync is used.
- The only data stored is your app preferences (preferred units and speed limit), saved locally on your device and removed if you uninstall the app.
Analytics, tracking, and advertising
Speedometer No Ads contains no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. There are no cookies, fingerprinting, or telemetry of any kind.
Permissions
The app requests location (while in use) for the sole purpose of measuring your speed and trip distance. It requests no other sensitive permissions.
Children's privacy
Speedometer No Ads does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the URL below with a new "Last updated" date.
